-it teaches me alot about the usage of resources in the classroom.

My point of view about these questions:

• What they like about blogging?
• Can deliver our ideas, understanding, point of views and opinions based on something.

• What they do not like about blogging?
• Sometimes the ideas or not the same with others opinions.

• What have they gained from blogging eg. Language skills, improved fluency, critical thinking, improved thought processes, technology skills etc.
• Yes, language skill was improved including critical thinking and the usage of technology.

• How?
• By applying what I have learned in the class in everyday life such as communicating. Then, I may apply it in my assignments.

• What they like about the course?
• Learn something about the usage of resources e.g technology.

• What they do not like about the course?
• Just only learning using technology. Do not learn about other types of resources.

• What they have learnt from the course?
• How to download, audio, video, pictures editing, storing items in the internet, and learning about the educational softwares, books using online application.

• What they do not expect but have learnt from the course?
• The usage of storage files in the internet.

• What they expect but have not learnt from the course?
• To learn on how to use other types of resources for example besides the usage of technology.

• If they can change anything about the course, state what it is and explain.
• The needs of printing the tutorials in every assignment. This is because there are too much of it. If little tutorials were used in every assignments which are need to be print, it is okay. But to much, it is not very suitable I think.

Educational book software..

First and foremost, software is a tool which we can usually relate it to the usage of the computer, internet and handphones. There are many kinds of its. Some are to manage it's owner computer to become smoother, easier and faster. But how about educational software? Specifically speaking; educational book software. What is it? Where can we find it? How can we use it? All of these questions I will answer it in below discussion.

Educational book software is a software that helps teacher and learners to make their learning to become more interesting and meaningful. This is due to the usage of colourful pictures, animations which allow pupils to concentrate even more to the topic that they will learn using the educational book software. 

Moreover, it is easy to find educational book software. On the internet, in the bookstore and we can also find it in the school resource center. Not only that, teacher can use this software online to teach the pupils. This is important as teacher need to be flexsible in order to find the best teaching method to deliver the inputs towards the pupils. So, why can not teacher use this educational book software since it can help to develop more teaching proficiency.

  Last but not least, as future teacher I always remind of myself that we must keep up to date since today we live in the world full of technologies. We can up to date ourselves by using this educational book software. We may give the pupils some tasks which make them use the educational book software. We also can use it as one of our teaching materials. For example to show the pupils different kinds of the concrete objects which can be found in the educational book software. 

So, this topic really embark my knowledge of using technologies as one of the resources which I will be used it in my future classroom..That's all for now. The end.

My twelve week... Assignments...

Salam..

 This is the time when people starts to work like a speed of light. The time when people want to hand in their assignments. This situation happen to me.

This week all of us need to hand in our assignment. Besides all of the tiedness... There are lots of good things that we can share about it.

Firstly, the understanding about the assignments develop as there are lots of reading need to be done.

In addition, the teamwork. Yes in this class, it helps me alot to exchange ideas with others especially my teamwork. They help me alot to solve some obstacles when I doing this assignments.

Besides that, by doing this assignment it helps me to become more discipline people since there are due date for me to hand in my assignments. Thus, it helps me to overcome my laziness problems especially in solving matters as future teacher I need to become a hardworking teacher.

Lastly, it is crytal clear that all this assignment surely develops my soft skills such as cooperation, critical thinking skill, communication skills, how to get the whole idea about the input with in this assignment and many more.

Research paper...

As what we have discussed last week, the week we still on the same topic where Mr. Fairuz Raziman takes his turn to present what his group have to say about topic six. After listening to what he has said, it helps me a lot to broaden my schemata about previous lesson such as more explanation about what, why, when, where, how to find the right sources of appropriate materials.

Thus, this week reminds me alot the correct usage of internet in finding sources for the teaching inputs and many more.Till then until we meet again... 

Video making website? Easy and fun..

As we all know, video making website is one of the way teacher can fulfill the usage of technologies in the classroo. This week the lecturer introduce us with this website 'www.onetruemedia.com'. 

This website is like an alternative video making website. It use three simple words to attract the user attention which are 'upload', 'choose a style' and 'wow everyone'. In my opinion, I found out this website let us use different style of effects, animations, and for the best part is the website itself will do the rest fir us. It is easy. Not only that, it is also free of charge.Wow! It is very interesting, itsn't?

More over, I myself as a newcomer in this world of technology do realize that, by using this website it allows my video to be like one of the professional video such as MTV video music.

Thus, as future teacher I must be able to apply this knowledge (the usage of this website) in my classroom since this alternative website allows me to improve the teaching and learning process and develop my soft skills with other teahcers.

Research articles..Important for us..

This week we are required to find a research article in the website.

For the first thought, I feel it did not give any benefit on us, however after I find and search it in the website, I found lots of new informations about teacher and teaching proficiency.

So, by doing this week task, I found that it helps me alot on how to drill the informations that can be used in the future. Hope any task during this holiday helps me to be more independent learner as today world people are moving forward and I do not want to left behind. 

8th week.presentations in front of the class.

Salam, 

this week we are required to use Micrsoft Publisher to do some new letters, cards and lots more. For me, this is the first time I am learning using this software. I am little bit ackward when using one the Microsoft softwares. For that, in the class I tried to find someone who knows better about this software. So forth, for about two hours I only learn to explore more about this software with my friend. Thus, it helps me a lots as I manage to find many type of browsers in this software that we as future teacher can use it for our teaching purpose. For example we can teach the primary pupils on how to create their own birthday cards, their favourite banners and letters.

As a result, I very glade that I be able to learn a new topic on how to use technologies as one of my resources to teach the future pupils. 

 

The four skill..Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing

Hai, this is the time when we are supposed to combine our thoughts to discuss and separate the four skills which the pupils will be learn in the classroom. The four skills are listening, speaking, reading and writing.

In this part, my task is to come out with listening skill activity. As we all know, song is one of the elements that can make a person especially a child to pay attention and listen to it very carefully.Therefore, an activity which uses song as one of the listening skill to deliver the input to the pupils usually is more effective since the pupils will give their attention to listen to the lyrics of the song. 

Moreover, by using song as one of way to teach the listening skill to the pupils is to help them to get the general idea or help the pupils to receive the basic input on what the topic is all about. This is done when the pupils receive a task sheet that they need to fill in it. Thus when they listen to the song and refer to the task sheet, it can help them to understand the topic easier and faster. After that, the this materials to teach the listening skill is to help the pupils to find the specific information or the detailed of the text through listening skills. This is important since at the age of pupils right now pupils need lots of listening practice to make them become more prepared to receive more information in their future studies and specifically before they move towards to speaking skills.

Lastly my friends, we can see that listening skill is very important to the pupils as we can see that a correct usage of listening skill can be their scaffolding and foundation to further their acquiring the knowledge.     

My Seventh week in this classroom..

Salam and Hai...
In this weekend, our task is to do e-book. For me, it was the first time I heard the name e-book in my entire life. That is why I was very afraid to do this task. However, after been told by Madam Foziah what actually e-book is, I already understand what an e-book is. E-book is a electronic book that can be found in the internet which we can use it as one of our teaching aids. I am very glad that when Madam Foziah opened up my mind and help me to generate new sets of schemata about e-book. Moreover in this weekend, we were given some standards that are required in making the e-book become more effective to the users. Some of the requirements are colour and clear organization of the sentence structure, background of the e-book, songs that must be related to the topic, the fonts that using comic San ms font since it is more familiar and similar to their hand writing. By the end, all the effects in the e-book was very important to attract the readers attention and to create an e-book which is vey useful and thus it may be used as one of teaching aid for the primary pupils.
I hope that what I already learned in this weekend can be shared with my other friends and can be used in my future primary classroom. That's all, till then. Salam and bye bye...Above is the first e-book picture in my entire life.Hehehe..

Pair work..

This is the time when I will work with a new partner, Syana. Wow, she gave lots of ideas to the video that we soon will create and edit. That is why sometimes when we work with another person we will learn new things. Then, this is one of the main skill that I would love to learn. I am glad that I will do it with new and different partner.Thus, this challenge me to come out with a good ideas in order to fulfill the task given by our lecturer. So, by the end we glad that we be able to finish it and do free to see it. Hope you all enjoy it. Oh I merely forget that above is one of the storyboard that were in the edited video. Till then...

Week 5:Now Audio editing..

This weekend we learn on how to edit sounds or audio. This is important as we can use and integrate some of the edited sounds or audio in the classroom. As we all can see, children or pupils love to hear sounds. The sounds of animals, transportation, and many more. When we use many types of sound in our teaching process, it surely will encourage pupils to listen and focus on what we will want teach them after that. So forth, learning will take place as the pupils have been attracted with the different types of sound.
Moreover, there are some software which we can use to edit sounds or audio such as mp3 cutter, and mp3 converter. For example, Audiocity 1.3, Xilisoft & many more. This software are programmed to help us to encode the sounds and cut it where ever we like and want to used it. Therefore what have I learned in this weekend is useful. So, above picture is the audio that I have edited.That all and Assalamualaikum...

Picture editting..week 4..

In this weekend we learn on how to edit a picture. For me, when Madam Foziah taught and asked us to send our own edited picture, I very glad that I myself were given an opportunities to do and edit the picture myself. This is the first time I tried to do it myself. Some of the sofwares to that we can use to edit pictures are adobe photoshop, photo impact, turbo photo and many more.
Not only that, through out this weekend we as future teacher be able to apply this technique of editing pictures into our classroom environment. Then, we can also use it to adopt into our lesson plan. That is why for me by learning to edit pictures it can help future teacher to become more techno savvy in order to deliver the knowledge to the young language learners.
So, this is what I already done in my 4th week of resources classroom.Not bad, right?

My 3rd week reflection

Through out this week, I really felt very glad that I learned on how to share information with others.Not only that, working as a group really give us a handy especially when the time we need to present in the front.
We learned on how to recognize pupils acknowledgements.
Each group were given opportunities to present their inputs with others in the classroom.
That is why learning on how to cooperate with others is really important in this week.

My 2nd week reviews

Teaching English in The Primary Classroom“Young children did not come to class empty handed but are equipped with an already established set of instincts, skills and characteristics to help them learn”

So, in working with them, educators need to consider :-Children are very good at interpreting meaning without necessarily understanding the individual words.-Already have great skill in using limited language creatively.-Frequently learn indirectly rather than directly.-Take great pleasure in finding and creating fun in what they do.-Have a ready imagination.-Love to talk!!!
In considering those characteristics, I believe that children are very good at showing that they are learning. Educators need to identify as well as manipulate it to achieve the educational objectives.

Children ability to grasp meaningIntonation, facial expressions, actions and circumstances help them to interpret what the unknown words and phrases probably mean. By understanding the message in this way they start to understand the language. So, when children encounter a new language at school, they can call on the same skill to help them interpret the new sounds, new words and new structures.

Children’s creative use of limited language resourcesEither word or concept. A four-year-old British child who said ‘don’t unring’ when she wanted to tell a telephone caller to wait, was using her existing knowledge of the way the negative prefix works in order to create a meaning she needed.

Children’s capacity or indirect learningEven when teachers are controlling an activity fairly closely, children sometimes sees to notice something out of the corner of their eye and to remember it better than what they were actually supposed to be learning. Conscious direct learning seems to encourage worked-our accuracy. While, unconscious encourages spontaneous and therefore more fluent use. In learning, there will therefore need to be times for conscious focus on language forms and times for indirect learning with its focus on making meaning.

Children’s instinct for play and funNo matter how well a teacher explains an activity, there is often someone in the class who produces a version of their own. Sometimes it is better than the teacher’s original idea.

ImaginationIn the primary school, children are very busy making sense of the world around them. Claiming a dinosaur in a list of pets is hardly real in purist terms but perfectly normal for a nine year old with a sense of the absurd.

The instinct for interaction and talkIt is one of the most powerful motivators for using the language. The only way to learn a language is to use it. So, teacher’s job is to make sure that the desire to talk is working for learning not against learning.

That’s all for theory today! Now, technological tools. This is the first class of ESL Resources. Today, I learn on downloading, saving and encoding files. I was introduced with dap, which is downloader accelerator plus, mozilla firefox, encoder and also some software like flash. At this moment, I realize on the usefulness of these tools and how it will help me to make my teaching more interesting. In order to use it to its maximum level, I need to master the step-by-step instructions.
