8th week.presentations in front of the class.

Salam, 

this week we are required to use Micrsoft Publisher to do some new letters, cards and lots more. For me, this is the first time I am learning using this software. I am little bit ackward when using one the Microsoft softwares. For that, in the class I tried to find someone who knows better about this software. So forth, for about two hours I only learn to explore more about this software with my friend. Thus, it helps me a lots as I manage to find many type of browsers in this software that we as future teacher can use it for our teaching purpose. For example we can teach the primary pupils on how to create their own birthday cards, their favourite banners and letters.

As a result, I very glade that I be able to learn a new topic on how to use technologies as one of my resources to teach the future pupils. 

 

The four skill..Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing

Hai, this is the time when we are supposed to combine our thoughts to discuss and separate the four skills which the pupils will be learn in the classroom. The four skills are listening, speaking, reading and writing.

In this part, my task is to come out with listening skill activity. As we all know, song is one of the elements that can make a person especially a child to pay attention and listen to it very carefully.Therefore, an activity which uses song as one of the listening skill to deliver the input to the pupils usually is more effective since the pupils will give their attention to listen to the lyrics of the song. 

Moreover, by using song as one of way to teach the listening skill to the pupils is to help them to get the general idea or help the pupils to receive the basic input on what the topic is all about. This is done when the pupils receive a task sheet that they need to fill in it. Thus when they listen to the song and refer to the task sheet, it can help them to understand the topic easier and faster. After that, the this materials to teach the listening skill is to help the pupils to find the specific information or the detailed of the text through listening skills. This is important since at the age of pupils right now pupils need lots of listening practice to make them become more prepared to receive more information in their future studies and specifically before they move towards to speaking skills.

Lastly my friends, we can see that listening skill is very important to the pupils as we can see that a correct usage of listening skill can be their scaffolding and foundation to further their acquiring the knowledge.     

My Seventh week in this classroom..

Salam and Hai...
In this weekend, our task is to do e-book. For me, it was the first time I heard the name e-book in my entire life. That is why I was very afraid to do this task. However, after been told by Madam Foziah what actually e-book is, I already understand what an e-book is. E-book is a electronic book that can be found in the internet which we can use it as one of our teaching aids. I am very glad that when Madam Foziah opened up my mind and help me to generate new sets of schemata about e-book. Moreover in this weekend, we were given some standards that are required in making the e-book become more effective to the users. Some of the requirements are colour and clear organization of the sentence structure, background of the e-book, songs that must be related to the topic, the fonts that using comic San ms font since it is more familiar and similar to their hand writing. By the end, all the effects in the e-book was very important to attract the readers attention and to create an e-book which is vey useful and thus it may be used as one of teaching aid for the primary pupils.
I hope that what I already learned in this weekend can be shared with my other friends and can be used in my future primary classroom. That's all, till then. Salam and bye bye...Above is the first e-book picture in my entire life.Hehehe..

Pair work..

This is the time when I will work with a new partner, Syana. Wow, she gave lots of ideas to the video that we soon will create and edit. That is why sometimes when we work with another person we will learn new things. Then, this is one of the main skill that I would love to learn. I am glad that I will do it with new and different partner.Thus, this challenge me to come out with a good ideas in order to fulfill the task given by our lecturer. So, by the end we glad that we be able to finish it and do free to see it. Hope you all enjoy it. Oh I merely forget that above is one of the storyboard that were in the edited video. Till then...

Week 5:Now Audio editing..

This weekend we learn on how to edit sounds or audio. This is important as we can use and integrate some of the edited sounds or audio in the classroom. As we all can see, children or pupils love to hear sounds. The sounds of animals, transportation, and many more. When we use many types of sound in our teaching process, it surely will encourage pupils to listen and focus on what we will want teach them after that. So forth, learning will take place as the pupils have been attracted with the different types of sound.
Moreover, there are some software which we can use to edit sounds or audio such as mp3 cutter, and mp3 converter. For example, Audiocity 1.3, Xilisoft & many more. This software are programmed to help us to encode the sounds and cut it where ever we like and want to used it. Therefore what have I learned in this weekend is useful. Picture editting..week 4..

In this weekend we learn on how to edit a picture. For me, when Madam Foziah taught and asked us to send our own edited picture, I very glad that I myself were given an opportunities to do and edit the picture myself. This is the first time I tried to do it myself. Some of the sofwares to that we can use to edit pictures are adobe photoshop, photo impact, turbo photo and many more.
Not only that, through out this weekend we as future teacher be able to apply this technique of editing pictures into our classroom environment. Then, we can also use it to adopt into our lesson plan. That is why for me by learning to edit pictures it can help future teacher to become more techno savvy in order to deliver the knowledge to the young language learners.
So, this is what I already done in my 4th week of resources classroom.Not bad, right?

My 3rd week reflection

Through out this week, I really felt very glad that I learned on how to share information with others.Not only that, working as a group really give us a handy especially when the time we need to present in the front.
We learned on how to recognize pupils acknowledgements.
Each group were given opportunities to present their inputs with others in the classroom.
That is why learning on how to cooperate with others is really important in this week.
